Create your own 'Arabella' style Cowl Workshop

Create your own ‘Arabella’ style project.

Based on my Arabella cowl design attendees will be choosing shades to create their own version. To inspire your colour choices we will be looking at inspiration images and I will talk you through the way in which I create moodboards when designing. After you have created your own mini moodboard and chosen your shades it will then be up to you how to arrange the segments of the pattern and even adding in your own stitches if you choose.

You can choose to be as creative as you like in this workshop or you may wish to stay with the original shades and stitches the choice is yours.

There will be plenty of Rowan Alpaca Classic yarn in a variety of shades to play with during the workshop to explore the stitches and create sample swatches.

Once we have looked at the stitches (which are all very simple so you really do not need to be an advanced knitter to take part in the workshop) we can then look at the projects that you could then go on to make. You might decide to use up your stash and make a wrap or maybe just some oddments and have some wrist warmers...so many options

Drinks and biscuits will be supplied by the lovely 'The Woolly Tap' as we knit away and there are numerous lovely cafe's to head to after the workshop in the village of marsden which is nestled in stunning yorkshire countyside with numerous walks in the hills or strolls along the canal to refresh you after a morning of knitting. 

I will be providing the inspiration and samples of yarn to use on the day for your swatching.

You just need to arrive with some knitting needles, ready to have a creative few hours in the company of like minded creative folk.
